This animal is an African bull elephant that is being tracked by the reserve to see what he was doing and eating. He was walking through the forest and we saw his tusks appear out of the brush. After that he just stopped in front of the safari truck for a minute or two. While he was standing there everyone was trying not to scare it and my mom was whispering to us to get towards the back of the truck. Then he just walked away like nothing had happened. This elephant was causing a serious holdup with the safari trucks. He was standing there and our truck came and found him, our guide radioed in our find and the trucks starting coming in and causing it to be impossible to get out. After 5-10 minutes, the elephant finally noticed the trucks and walked away. This elephant was later seen with the bull elephant above, and they had cleared and HUGE path through the trees.
